My name is Stacy, this is my knitting blog.
I live in Portland, Oregon with
Matt and our cat Bernard (although no one ever calls him that, he just answers to Kitty…and by answering, I mean he lifts his head and glares at you with feline disdain and then goes back to licking himself). 
I knit, sew a little, and drink too much coffee. I am a travel enthusiast, and this is the convergence of my favorite obsessions.

UPDATE: As of October 15, 2008, Matt and I have temporarily relocated to London, England. Kitty stayed in Portland with my mom as he doesn’t share our love for travel. Thanks again Mom! I’m going to be updating a personal blog with our travel (mis)adventures at stacymcdowell.com. I’ll keep this blog just for the knitting/yarn/crafty type topics.
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: As of April 15, 2009, we’re home!
